After years of the original Blair Witch Project movie - a movie that had audiences captivated from beginning to end a new movie has been introduced.
Yes I know... others have been made before this latest one but they were all garbage.
Anyways, Blair Witch attempts to pick up about a decade later from the original and gives you the perspective of the Brother of one of the main characters from the first movie who grew up without his Sister.
His best friend in the movie also happens to have a past with the original movie as well but details beyond the fact he was friends with the main character since his sister disappearance are sparse until mid way through the movie.
The movie took a little while to get to anything really meaningful which is always a problem with these types of movies. Thankfully things did pick up and it became fairly "Blair Witchy" quickly.
The introduction of new technology didn't play as much of a role as I thought it could have since it is 2017 (or 2016).
The movie honestly was the same type of let down as the original follow-up as it never did get beyond scare tactic scenes , Bonus though - you do finally get a chance to view the Blair Witch - which should have been done for a lot longer.
The ending was one were you either hated it or loved it.
MOVIE REVIEW : 5.5/10
