What can I say, Once again NXT just keeps pushing WWE main roster to - as they say - "follow that". NXT Take Over Brooklyn 3 started off with professional wrestling and story telling as Andrea and Gargano went back and forth a number of times , diving in and out of the ring with catches and reversals to make you count to 2 with the expectation to hit 3 each and every time. This match had everything including the usual distraction reserved for a big match - and this was just the start.

The match that followed had to raise the bar as the start of the night kicked off on a high note. Corey Graves made a return for this match as the Authors of Pain took on Sanity.
The match was exactly what you would expect to start with the 4 biggest men matching up and wrecking havoc around the ring, Eric Young - who recently made his return - wants in and gets it taking on both the big men in Authors Of Pain and replacing his former tag mate.
Nikki Cross playing a small but important role again that was absolutely a bump worth the money - new Tag champions are crowned!
The debut of a free agents Kyle O'Riley and Bobby Fish was a nice surprise although I had no idea who they were so it didn't have as much of an impact on me as I would have hoped.
Hideo Itami was up next against Aleister Black - who had a Triple H Motorhead style entrance that made me think they were trying to make more money off this guy than he is drawing - but that's another story.
Jim Ross came out and replaced Corey Graves as the special announcer but honestly the other announcers drowned him out so I didn't get a chance to enjoy him as much as the attitude era.
This match was 2 words - Hard Hitting.
Bell to Bell this was a great Hard Hitting match and honestly it wasn't over the top and it didn't match the excitement level of the previous matches but it did it's job perfectly.
Next up was a Championship match for the NXT Women's Championship as Asuka took on Ember Moon for a bell to bell impressive Women's Match as Asuka retained her belt and set the stage in the following days for her to appear on the main roster as an undefeated longest reigning NXT Women's Champion. Ember Moon's presentation in this match was delivered exactly as you would have expected with a number of back and forth's , near pin falls and and unexpected win by the Champion. The Empress of Tomorrow indeed.
Bobby Roode against Drew McIntrye for the NXT Championship the match was built up well with a reversal landing Roode hard on the ringside and Roode landing a running RKO of sorts.
The match felt slower paced than the previous matches once again even as the pace of this match has picked up. The match takes and exhausting turn as a near fall makes McIntrye fly out the ring to a somewhat botched move that looked like it hurt him more than anyone anyone else. The culmination of the match saw Roode lost the NXT Championship (to give way to his draft onto SmackDown!) which was something we all saw coming but they did it in a fashion that had you guessing the entire time - are they gonna pull the trigger on this guy?
The night capped off with the intrusion and introduction of another TNA /Impact! star - Adam Cole. He came out with the aforementioned O'Riley and Fish and layed out the newly crowned NXT Champion.
VIDEO/TV RATING : 8.5 - Must See!
